For this theatre released movie, Animoka, in collaboration with Lumiq Studios, has been in charge of several departments throughout the production.
During one year and with a team of around 40 people, Animoka managed, produced, supervised and delivered over 1100 shots of the movie.
Our tasks:
- - We did the entire stereoscopic layout, developing custom tools and taking care of the storytelling of the third dimension.
- - We created an 360° environment generator, modeling, shading and texturing the surrounding sets and backgrounds.
- - We developed a “grass system” for the almost 700 shots with grass of the movie. Our tools allowed us to put up to half million stems per shot of around 20 polygons each that had to respect the peculiar design of the movie
- - We elaborated the final look of the movie, being in charge of the lighting, rendering and compositing departments, producing “30 layers” pictures, for the 82 minutes of the movie for a total of around 4 million images, all of this in less than seven months.
Finally, we created and edited commercial trailers, helped in enhancing the story impact trough elaborated 3D pre-cuts, following DI and laboratory operations.
